"Will not!"

"Will too!"

"I will NOT!" Sharzahad stamped her foot hard on the ground and folded her arms across her chest, glaring at Buck.

Buck stared at the little figure before him in disbelief. "Now look here little lady. You can't go around town in your undergarments."

"What are undergarments?"

"What you got on."

"These are my clothes and they're perfectly fine. None of my other Masters ever complained."

"Well, I'm not really complaining ma'am." Buck said with a grin, taking a step closer.

Sharzahad rolled her eyes. "But?"

"Well, but, they're not what women here where." He said stepping closer still.

"Well its what I'm wearing."

Buck grabbed her wrist and pulled her to him. "Let's go shopping."

"Let me go! I will not change clothes."

"Oh, I think you will ma'am." Buck said, tossing her over his shoulder.

Sharzahad pounded on his back. "PUT ME DOWN!"

"Nope, we're going shopping." Buck said as he carried her out the room, and out the boarding house into the street.

JD spit out his drink as Buck walked down the street carrying a scantily clad screaming woman over his shoulder. Buck tipped his hat to him, ignoring the screaming woman on his shoulder, "Mornin' JD."

Ezra stepped out on the porch next to JD and looked at him, "What just happened there?" Pointing at Buck.

JD just shrugged. "You got me."

Buck walked into the seamstress's and dropped Sharzahad onto the sofa. "Now, lets get you something decent to wear."

"Why you, brut!" Sharzahad said as she stood up and tried to walk out the door.

Buck wrapped and arm around her waist, and pushed her back onto the sofa, "Oh no you don't."

"Now look here, I don't want new clothes. I like what I have on. Now, I'm leaving whether…"

Buck looked at her and shook his head, "I wish you would just cooperate!"

Sharzahad bit her tongue and frowned, sighing, "Yes Master."

"Master? Mr. Wilmington, what is all this nonsense? Who is this young lady?"

Buck looked at Sharzahad, "Would you stop calling me that?" He turned to the seamstress, "Morning ma'am. This is a friend. She's new to town and needs some new clothes. Her ummm, her luggage was stolen and this is all she's got. Think you could help."

"Why, I think we can come up with something. Your name dear?"

Sharzahad looked at her, "Sharzahad."

"Well Sharzahad come along and lets see what we can do."

Sharzahad stood up reluctantly and looked at Buck. "Remember, cooperate."

"Yes Master."

Buck smiled, "I'll come pick you up in a couple of hours. I got some business to tend to."

Sharzahad looked at him, "You're leaving me here."

Buck grinned, "Now Darlin, I'll be back. You just get some pretty new dresses to wear."

Sharzahad rolled her eyes as Buck kissed her hand and opened the door. "Men."

The seamstress laughed and looked at Sharzahad. "Come along my dear."

Sharzahad followed the seamstress reluctantly wondering what business her Master had to conduct without her.

Buck wandered to the sheriff's office, and dumped out the pieces of a glass bottle onto the desk. "All right JD, how you at puzzles?"

JD looked at Buck, "Buck have you lost your senses? This is a broken whiskey bottle."

"Look, I can't explain, but I gotta fix it."

JD looked at him, "Oh, and since when you go about carrying ladies about against their will?"

Buck rolled his eyes, "JD just help me fix this damn bottle."

"Sure Buck. No problem. Easier then finding a needle in a haystack, yeah right." JD shook his head and started trying to fit pieces together.

Sharzahad looked at herself in the mirror. The violet dress offset her eyes and skin tone nicely, her shoulders just bared. The undergarments, while uncomfortable, offset her figure rather nicely. Sharzahad sighed; she could get use to this if she had to. It was awful, although it was a bit warm, and snug. She looked at the seamstress who was smiling. "I'll have the other dresses ready for you to pick up tomorrow morning."

Sharzahad nodded, and then turned as Buck walked in to the store. "Well now, that is a definite vision of beauty. Sharzahad?"

"Yes Master?"

"Now would you stop that Master business. You do look absolutely stunning in that. Did you get some other dresses?"

"They'll all be ready for her tomorrow morning Mr. Wilmington."

"Thank you ma'am. Will you just put it on my tab?"

"Yes sir, be delighted to. See you two in the morning."

Buck nodded, and took Sharzahad's arm. "I have a surprise for you."

Sharzahad looked at Buck oddly, "A surprise? For me?"

Buck nodded, "For you. Come on."

Sharzahad walked with him a bit unsure of this. None of her other master's had ever given her surprises or bought her things like the clothes she had gotten today. She looked at Buck trying to figure out this tall, bright eyed, man who seemed full of laughter. She walked with him quietly, for the first time wanting to know him better than she'd ever known any of her other Masters.

Buck smiled as he walked her up the steps to the sheriff's office. "You ready for your surprise?"

Sharzahad nodded hesitantly. Buck smiled, "All right, now close your eyes."

Buck took both her hands as she closed her eyes and guided her into the sheriff's office. He reached out and picked up a wrapped package off the desk. He placed it in her hands, in place of his hands and smiled, "Okay, you can open your eyes."

Sharzahad looked at it, and studied the package, "What is it?"

Buck laughed, "Well now darlin', hasn't anyone ever given you a gift. You have to unwrap it."

Sharzahad nodded, "Oh, I see." She slowly started to unwrap the gift and as the paper was peeled away, she looked at the object in her hands and then at Buck, still confused. "What is it?"

Buck chuckled, "Look, I fixed it. I didn't mean to break your bottle, so I fixed it."

Sharzahad looked at the misshapen glass bottle that was randomly pieced together, and at Buck's face. "Ummm, thank you. I think."

"Everything will be fine now. You won't get in trouble."

Sharzahad sighed as she looked at the man before her. "Yes Master. Everything will be just fine." Sharzahad moved over to Buck's side, and rested a hand on his arm.

Buck looked at the petite woman by his side and grinned. "See, I told you so. Now come on. Let's go show you off to this town."

Sharzahad shook her head as she looked at the misshapen bottle in one hand and looked at Buck whose arm her hand rested on. She tried to figure out how she was going to explain this to the court of genies; silently hoping to herself she never would have to. She couldn't explain it, not even to herself, but she felt a connection to this man, and she didn't want to lose the feeling.

Buck felt a surge of energy with this woman by his side. He didn't really know what it was, but he didn't want to lose the feeling. He looked down at the petite figure by him and smiled at her radiant beauty. She might be stubborn, but she liked him, he just knew it.
